Former president George HW Bush re-admitted to hospital on Sunday after he suffered low blood pressure and fatigue.
"The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort," Jim McGrath informed on Twitter.
Three weeks back, on May 5 he was released from the hospital after staying in for two weeks for the treatment of an infection spread to his blood. He was admitted in a hospital in Texas immediately after his wife, Barabara Bush's funeral.
The  93-year-old, George HW Bush will remain at Southern Maine Health Care under observation for a few days.
Bush, who suffers from Parkinson's disease and is wheelchair-bound, has been hospitalized on several occasions in recent years.
The father of another former president who served from 2001 to 2009, George W Bush was the 41st president of America.
The elder Bush was elected president in 1988 but served only one term, going down to defeat against Democrat Clinton in 1992.
