Ever since sexual harassment scandal against Harvey Weinstein came to news, scores of Hollywood female celebrities have spoken about their ordeal and maintaining silence for so many years. Shocking to many, Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow also came out in the open detailing her experience with then-media mogul Harvey.

In a development to that news, Gwyneth now reveals how she was saved from any future altercations with Harvey as her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt intervened. She credited her ex-fiance for risking his fame and having her back against Harvey back in the day. She narrated, "We had one instance in a hotel room where he tried to...where he made a pass at me. I really kind of stood up to him, I told my boyfriend at the time, Brad Pitt."

She added, "Brad Pitt, we were at the opening of Hamlet on Broadway, that Ralph Fiennes was in Hamlet, and Harvey was there, and Brad Pitt, it was like the equivalent of throwing him against the wall, you know, energetically."

"It was so fantastic because what he did was, he leveraged his fame and power to protect me, at a time when I didn't have fame or power yet. It was, it was fantastic. He's a good person. And Harvey was never inappropriate with me again.”

Gwyneth and Brad were a thing in 1994 when the highly publicised love affair started. Their relationship, however, lasted only till 1997.

Gwyneth is now engaged to Brad Falchuck. Last year shedivorced Chris Martin after 10 years of marriage.
