For all the Game of Thrones lovers, the time is here as the ‘it’ couple of the series is finally going to walk down the aisle as they turn dreams into reality for most of us hoping for something like that to happen. We are talking about GoT’s Jon Snow and Ygritte aka Kit Harington and Rose Leslie.

The couple met on the sets of the show as they were pitted against each other as arch enemies and went on to share a passionate affair that lasted briefly. The hot passion turned into real-life romance which will now see it’s happily ever after as the two will take their wedding vows in a Scottish castle on June 23, 2018.

Interestingly, both the actors are from noble British families with royalty in their bloodlines and have been acting since a tender age. It is an actual reel meet real for the two.

The Castle in Scotland

For those who want to know about the Scottish castle, it is called Wardhill Castle that is home to the ancient Leslie Clan, of which Rose is a part. Her father, the Honourable Alexander Leslie is the Clan Chief. The castle is among many owned by Leslie Clan. It is set in a vast estate and has been transformed into an exclusive weekend retreat and popular wedding venue.

The Guests

The couple will reportedly have a private wedding with a few close attendants. It was reported that Game of Thrones actors Emilia Clarke aka Daenerys Targaryen and Peter Dinklage aka Tyrion Lannister have already arrived in the city for their friends’ nuptials. It is reported that the guests have been accommodation within the castle and a separate marquee has been erected within the expansive compound for the wedding breakfast and post-dinner speeches.
