Cox is all set to marry Snow Patrol frontman Johnny McDaid

Some bonds last a lifetime. Popular comedy series 'Friends' may have ended over ten years ago but the cast remains thick till date. Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston have been BFFs forever and just like their screen versions Monica and Rachael, have been each other's support all these years.

So it is quite natural that Aniston (49) would be Cox's maid of honour as the 53-year-old actress gets set to tie the knot with beau Johnny McDaid, the lead singer of Snow Patrol.

Cox and McDaid will have two wedding ceremonies. One in Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny’s home in Derry, Northern Ireland and later, a beach wedding in Malibu, reports Mirror. Aniston will be the maid of honour in both the ceremonies.

“Courteney and Jennifer are thick as thieves and they have got even closer in recent months. Courteney wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle without Jennifer by her side. They have a very strong friendship," a source was quoted as saying.

Cox was Aniston's maid of honour when she had married Justin Theroux in 2015.

Cox and McDaid began dating in 2013 and announced their engagement a year later but separated for four months before reuniting in 2016. The wedding singer at both bashes is expected to be Ed Sheeran, who introduced the couple to each other.

It is not clear yet whether the rest of the cast of 'Friends' would be part of the wedding celebrations.
