Forbes top-10 rich list: Emma Stone leads highest paid actress list, Deepika slips out

Emma Stone has been riding high on the success of her Oscar-nominated movie 'La-La-Land'
Forbes released its annual list of Hollywood's highest-paid actresses on Wednesday and Oscar-winning actress of "La La Land" fame, Emma Stone landed at the top of the listearning $26 million.
Emma Stone had not made it to the list in 2016 and for her to be on the top of the list, is good news for all aspiring actresses. Stone became No-1 after Jennifer Lawrence who was consecutively at the top for last two years fell to No -3. The number- 2 spot was taken on by the former 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston, who like every year continues to bring in a lot of moolah owning to movies and majorly by endorsements.
Another notable thing to point is that three actresses -- Emma Stone, JenniferAniston and Jennifer Lawrence were the only three women to top $20 million in earnings this year, compared with four last year.
Newcomers to the top-10 include 'Beauty and the Beast'lead Emma Watson, tied at No-6 with $14 million, and two-time Oscar winner and upcoming star of Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok" Cate Blanchett, at No-8 with $12 million.
According to Forbes, the 10 highest-paid actresses in Hollywood earned a combined $172.5 million this year, down from $205 million in 2016.
