China: Attacker goes on stabbing rampage outside school, kills 9

Delhi, India

At least 9 people were killed in a stabbing attack that took place outside a middle school in China. The incident occurred in northwestern China's Shaanxi province.

According to reports, at least 10 people were hospitalised. The local police have arrested the suspect who was identified by the last name Zhao. The suspected attacker is believed to be in his 20s and was a student at the same school. 

Reports suggest that the man carried out the attack seeking revenge for having been bullied.

Due to stringent Chinese restrictions on gun ownership, articles like knives and homemade explosives emerge as most commonly used weapons in violent crimes.
