A 6.9 magnitude earthquakehit Mexico near the Pacific coast on Wednesday.
Reports said the epicentre of the earthquake was in Acapulco in Guerrero state which is a beach resort.
Buildings in Mexico's capital shook due to the earthquake, however, there were no immediate reports of casualties.
