US launches new wave of strikes on Iran military targets

The United States carried out a twelfth consecutive night of strikes against Iran, saying the operations are intended to curb Tehran's ability to threaten commercial shipping. Iran has vowed a strong response to any further aggression, while the prolonged conflict continues to rattle global energy markets and drive fuel prices higher, with diplomatic efforts showing little visible progress.
