South Korea: Over 1.6 million visitors flocked to see the celebrity shark

Huge crowds have gathered in South Korea’s Busan to watch a third attempt to rescue Bukangi, a 3-metre female shark stranded in a canal. Rescuers are using nets to guide her back to the open sea after earlier attempts failed. Unusually warm water and an abundance of fish may have drawn the shark into the waterway.
