Fish mysteriously drops from sky and crashes into Tesla car in New Jersey. Here's what happened

In a strange incident, a fish fell from the sky and smashed into a Tesla car which was parked in a home's driveway and belonged to a couple in New Jersey. The fish dropped with suchhigh force that it cracked the windshield of the car.

The couple, Cynthia and Jeff Levine, stated that they heard a loud sound of a crash outside their home in Atlantic Highlands, which is a mile away from Raritan Bay, the nearest body of water, according to ABC 7.

“The car started honking, it went crazy honking which we had never heard. I didn’t know how to turn it off,” said Cynthia, as reported by The New York Post.

“I went out and [Jeff] was in the yard somewhere. He heard the crash and everything, but ignored it," she added.

The woman said that they tried to investigate the situation and discovered that the windshield of their Tesla car was broken and filled with a mess of “fish scales and blood".

“We were like holy crap look at this,” said Cynthia, while speaking to the outlet.

So, who was the culprit that made the fish fall?

The bizarre falling of the fish was caught in the security footage of the car in which a small fish was seen falling out of the sky suddenly and crashing into the car.

Earlier, the couple believed that it was someone's mischief and that the fish had been hurled at the car purely out of vendetta.

“Is somebody after us?” wondered Jeff. However, now they have most probably found the culprit who vandalised the car.

“We also have an eagle’s nest in our backyard… We think it was probably the eagle,” said Cynthia.

According to the locals, it is common to find the birds flying with fish in their mouths. The Levines suggested that the eagles must have dropped it.

The Levines are now expected to get their car after the repairs. A message was issued by Jeff for any other birds who may target his car.

“I lowered my deductibles, so if any birds are listening, please don’t drop it here because I’m covered now,” Jeff joked.
