Egyptian man sets new world record
An Egyptian man, Magdy Eissa, broke the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the fastest visit to all seven wonders of the world. Eissa visited all theseven wonders of the world in just six days, 11 hours, and 52 minutes. Hebeat theprevious record holder, Jamie McDonald, a British manby four and a half hours more.
Eissa, 45, embarked on his journey to all seven wonders with the Great Wall of China. Next, he visited India's Taj Mahal, the ivory marble mausoleum. He then visited the ancient city of Petra in Jordan, followed by the Roman Colosseum, the enormous statue of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu in Peru, and lastly the ancient Mayan metropolis of Chichén Itzá in Mexico.

The Guinness World Records shared a video by Eissa on their official Instagram account. The caption read, "Fastest time to visit the New Seven Wonders of the World is 6 days 11 hrs 52 min by Magdy Eissa."
Eissa could only use public transport as a means to achieve his childhood dream of completing this record. He travelled through flights, trains, subways, and buses, and even walked between the destinations.

“I had to navigate a complex web of flights, trains, buses, subways and walking between transportation hubs and the Wonders. A single disruption could derail the entire itinerary and result in a flight back home!” Eissa told GWR.
People on social media congratulated him for making a new record, amazed by how fast he completed the challenge. A user wrote, “That is very fast!”.
Another user wrote, "You're the coolest!" While one user joked, "Jetlag is afraid of this guy.”
