While global coronavirus locked are being lifted, restrictions are being eased and normalcy is gradually returning, it has become clear that the world has to live with the virus and in order to do that it needs to arm itself with the right weapons.
Living with the virus looks like a possibility thanks to new innovations with each passing day.
A 3Dcompany in Istanbul has a solution for those who are tired of weraing masks all the time.
It has invented a mask tool which can be attached behind thehead to relieve the pressure on theears and thenose.
Eating is also possible while wearing a mask, as per an inventionin Israel. The mask opens up automatically or using a hand remote.
The way we open doors is also set to change and that's not all.
A 3Dprinted tool lets users open and close doors without touching the handle. The touchless tool also allows peopleto safely get into elevators and press buttons.
The next big challenge is to test as many people as possible.
Danish researchers have now developed a fully automated robot that can take coronavirus swabs.
When a patient presents an ID-card, the robot prepares a sampling kit and performs the swab test.
The robot uses cameras to find the right part of the throat which notonly protects health workers from being exposed to the virus butalso helps ensure accuracy.
