<p>Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has issued an apology to the public after tweeting an erroneous post on Tuesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rahul&nbsp;had&nbsp;tweeted about figures highlighting price rise of essential commodities, which were later found to be incorrect.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The post soon became viral as people started talking about the issue on social media.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, Rahul later realized the error and deleted the tweet.&nbsp;</p>
