Hollywood fraternity turned up in black to receive the awards in order to show support for Time's Up campaign against culture of forced sexual favours by those in power

Sunday night (Monday morning in India) opened to a glamorous awards show, a first of this year, with Hollywood walking the red carpet in black attire in support of victims of abuse and sexual harassment -- after it was exposed last year that the entertainment industry was one of the biggest ill-treating networks for women. The Golden Globe winners also gave strong statements in support of the #MeToo movement among other things.
