Directed by Ang Lee, the action-thriller is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. 'Aladdin,'&nbsp;directed by Guy Ritchie, marks Smith's first time doing a Walt Disney Co film. The remake features many of the elements of the 1992 animated original, for which Williams won a Golden Globe for his voice work.

"I like the original movie so I'm aware I don't want to contaminate the nostalgia of the first one," said Ritchie. "What you want to do is embellish."

"My principal job was to entertain my five kids and my Disneyphile of a wife," said Ritchie, who is better known for action adventure movies like 'Sherlock Holmes'&nbsp;and adult crime caper 'RocknRolla.'

Naomi Scott who appeared in 'The 33'&nbsp;and 'Power Rangers'&nbsp;plays Princess Jasmine. Mena Massoud, who appeared in last year's 'Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan'&nbsp;series, plays the title role in the movie.

Fanning that nostalgia, Disney has now released a full-length trailer of its upcoming film ‘Aladdin’ that is the first live-action remake of the animated series/film by the same name and in this, we have Will Smith playing the blue genie. While they did release a first look teaser-trailer, this one shows all characters and establishes the reworked plot.&nbsp;

The new Aladdin trailer opens with Aladdin (Mena Massoud) evading a pursuit through the streets of Agrabah, the fictional Middle Eastern setting for the film before there's a meet-cute of sorts with Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott). We are then introduced to Jafar (Marwan Kenzari), the chief advisor to Agrabah's ruler — The Sultan (Navid Negabhan) — who claims that he can make Aladdin “rich, rich enough to impress a princess”. The task is simple -- bring Jafar a lamp from the Cave of Wonders.
