India has said Pakistan&#39;s claim that it received a proposal to swap former Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav for a terrorist was another addition to Islamabad&#39;s &quot;imaginary lies&quot;.&nbsp;

The claim was made by Pakistan foreign minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif.&nbsp;

Asif had suggested he had got the proposal while meeting with an NSA (national security adviser).&nbsp;

Asif however did not say who the NSA was.&nbsp;

He said the terrorist to be swapped was lodged in an Afghan jail but did not says who he might be.&nbsp;

&quot;If you have gone through the press release (issued by Afghan NSA&#39;s office), it seems this is one more addition to the long list of imaginary lies as stories which have been created by the Pakistani establishment,&quot; ANI quoted Raveesh Kumar, spokesperson for the ministry of external Aaffairs, as saying.

The office of the Afghan National Security Advisor, Mohammad Haneef Atmar, has also contradicted Asif&#39;s claim.

ANI quoted a statement from his office as saying there was no &quot;mention or reference of India or an Indian citizen during his (Atmar) meeting with the Pakistani foreign minister on September 21 in New York.&quot;

Jadhav, a former Indian Navy officer, has been sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court for alleged involvement in espionage and subversive activities. His execution was stayed after India moved the International Court of Justice (ICJ).&nbsp;
