John Abraham is back in an action thriller after a long time. In Nikkhil Advani's Vedaa, the actor plays mentor to Sharvari who is seeking justice from the powerful over their oppressive behaviour on her and her family. The trailer of Vedaa was unveiled on Thursday, which gives a glimpse of the action drama set to release on August 15.&nbsp; 
 
The film has Abraham playing an ex-army officer who trains Sharvari's Vedaa&nbsp;to seek justice for being oppressed due to her caste identity. The film also features Abhishek Bannerjee whose character is shown torturing villagers as he says, “I believe in the caste system and abide by it.”&nbsp; 
 
The trailer shows Abraham's character Abhimanyu training Vedaa in martial arts and boxing as she seeks to fight against discrimination.&nbsp;
