<p>The Supreme Court had on Tuesday banned the sale of firecrackers in Delhi till November 1, saying they were polluting.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The air quality in Delhi, which is never very good, takes an alarming dip -- because of the firecrackers -- after Diwali.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Diwali this year falls on October 19.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Chhattisgarh government has since the Supreme Court order also banned the use of high-decibel firecrackers during firecrackers.&nbsp;</p>
