A 37-year-old mother gave birth to a girl while riding a KSRTC bus in Peramangalam, Thrissur. She was travelling from Thrissur to Thottilpalam, Kozhikode, and was originally from Malappuram. Shortly after passing Peramangalam, she gave birth. She was already in an advanced stage of labour when the bus abruptly changed its course and hurried to Amala Hospital in Thrissur.
