With many people congratulating him for his accomplishment, the right-handed batsman&#39;s mother Purnima Sharma too expressed her happiness saying her son made the record on the day of his anniversary which doubled her joy.

Satisfied with her son&#39;s performance, Purnima said she feels proud that her son is the captain of Indian cricket team.

Rohit took 153 balls to reach his double century and hit 13 fours and 12 sixes in the inning.
