Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and former Bihar health minister Tej Pratap Yadav on Saturday predicted that the Janata Dal (United) will soon disintegrate in the state.

The soon of RJD chief Lalu Prasad said on Saturday: "The decline of JD (U) is now certain. It has begun in Arunachal Pradesh and soon it will disintegrate in Bihar as well. It is breaking into smaller units and its future in Bihar doesn`t look bright either."

It may be recalled that in a big setback to the JD(U), six out of its seven MLAS in Arunachal Pradesh joined the ruling BJP.

Following this, the opposition has been targeting the party since the JD(U) is an ally of the BJP in Bihar. Even leader of opposition Tejashwi Yadav has raised concerns over the possibility of the JD U)`s falling apart.

A day after Tej Pratap accused his younger brother of trying to sideline him in the party, Leader of Opposition and former deputy chief minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday downplayed the controversy and said&nbsp;that his brother spoke about how to unify and strengthen ''our party ahead of 2019 (general election) & 2020 (Bihar assembly election)''.

''It is very evident Tej Pratap ji spoke on strength of the party. He spoke about how to unify and strengthen our party, ahead of 2019 (general election) & 2020 (Bihar assembly election),'' Tejashwi Yadav said.

''All are working to strengthen the party. We shouldn't make mountain out of a molehill. We must focus on discrepancies in education, how students were given 38 out of 35 marks, how 44 young girls were raped. If you ignore this, Bihar isn't going to benefit at all,'' he added.&nbsp;

Tej Pratap had reportedly also said that there are certain anti-social elements in the party who are trying to ruin the party.&nbsp;

However, Tej Pratap Yadav on Sunday rubbished the news of family infighting.

"All this news of family infighting etc is false, there is no such thing, I have nothing against Tejashwi and Lalu ji but yes some other senior leaders in the party are sidelining youth workers," he told reporters here.

"The state President RC Purve is ignoring workers," he added.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad arrived at Mumbai`s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, ahead of his hospitalisation&nbsp;on Wednesday.

He was accompanied by son Tej Pratap, daughter Misa Bharti, and daughter-in-law Aishwarya, and will be admitted to the Asian Heart Hospital for treatment of his heart and kidney related ailments.

Lalu, who has been convicted in three fodder scam cases by a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in Ranchi since December last year, was undergoing treatment at Rajendra Institute Medical Sciences (RIMS) earlier.

He was admitted to RIMS on&nbsp;March 16&nbsp;after he complained of discomfort at Birsa Munda Jail, and was later moved to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

The suggestion came after the medical board at the RIMS reviewed the condition of Lalu Prasad and found that his sugar level was high and increasing.

They also said that he had developed some renal problems.

He also reportedly suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes.

The Income-Tax department has attached a property worth more than Rs 3 crore near Patna, suspected to be a benami asset held by RJD chief Lalu Prasad's family members who are facing investigation in a land-for-hotels scam.

IT department officials have put an attachment notice on the said property in Sheikhpura locality of the state capital.

"The notice of attachment was affixed on the property, estimated to be worth Rs 3.5 crore, in Sheikhpura locality yesterday," a senior IT department official told PTI today.

The official said the property is in the name of a company, named Fairgrow Holding. He said a few members of the Lalu family were directors in the firm "till a few years ago".

He said Lalu's sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap, besides daughters Ragini and Chanda, are no longer directors of the company. "However, notices sent to the company several times were not answered and no other claimant of the property came forward. It suggested the property was a benami holding".

Prasad, a former Bihar chief minister, is currently serving sentences in a number of fodder scam cases.

Members of his family have been named in cases filed by the Enforcement Directorate and the IT department in connection with the land-for-hotels scam.

The scam relates to transfer of prime land properties to Prasad's family by hotelier brothers of Patna in return for getting a contract for running two Railway hotels in Ranchi and Puri when Prasad was the Railway Minister in UPA-I government.

On one such land measuring 3 acres, Bihar's biggest mall is proposed. But the construction was stopped and the land has been attached by the Enforcement Directorate.
