<p>The Pune pitch curator Pandurang Salgaoncar, who was caught on camera boasting how he could &#39;tamper with the pitch&#39; ahead of the second ODI between India and New Zealand, has been &#39;dismissed&#39; and his membership &#39;terminated&#39;.</p>

<p>Pune pitch curator has been dismissed and his membership terminated, said CoA (Committee of Administrators) chief Vinod Rai and added that they were looking into the issue and in contact with the concerned officials. &#39;</p>

<p>&#39;We have asked for a detailed report and will act upon it accordingly,&#39;&#39; the CoA Chief further said.</p>

<p>Earlier the President of the Maharashtra Cricket Association Abhay Apte also today said that the association will conduct a detailed inquiry into Pune curator Pandurang Salgaoncar&#39;s claims that he could tamper with the pitch.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the sting operation, Salgaoncar is seen and heard speaking about tampering with the pitch to an undercover reporter, who poses as a bookie, while standing on the pitch of the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here last evening.</p>
