<p>The accused were arrested after minister of external affairs Sushma Swaraj asked for a report from the Uttar Pradesh government.&nbsp;</p>

<p>UP chief minister Adityanath also asked for strict punishment for the culprits.</p>

<p>Quentin Jeremy Clerc, 24 and his girlfriend Marie Droz, also 24, were chased and attacked by a group of men near the Fatehpur Sikri railway station on Sunday, October 22.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The men&nbsp;were allegedly&nbsp;following Clerc and Marie in Agra for a day before they attacked them, reports said. They allegedly&nbsp;harassed Marie before they finally attacked the couple.</p>

<p>Clerc was left with a fractured skull, a clot in his brain, a hearing impairment, a broken arm, and multiple bruises after the attack.&nbsp;Marie&#39;s arm was broken in the attack.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Clerc and Marie are currently admitted in Apollo Hospital in Delhi.</p>
