Sunny Leone is scheduled to perform in Bengaluru on November 3 at an event titled “Purity and Expression” organised by Time Creations at the Manyata Tech Park but looks like it will hit a roadblock as opposition for the show grows in momentum. A fringe Kannada outfit is opposing the show as they demand a more local flavour citing that Sunny ‘symbolises vulgarity’.&nbsp;

This is the second time in a row for the actress as her previous show scheduled for New Year's Eve 2017 was also cancelled over similar protests.&nbsp;

This time though, the organisers, Time Creations are sure that the show will take place as the police have given permission for the event, calling it the “biggest party” of Bengaluru. They were, however, the same organisers for the last year’s event. What didn’t work in their favour last year was that the state government disallowed it following protests by some Kannada outfits, including Karnataka Rakashana Vedike (KRV), which had contended it would be an "assault" on the city's culture.

The organisers then went to the state high court which directed the police to pass appropriate orders on an application filed by the former. Police denied permission, saying that the personnel would be on duty to maintain law and order during New Year celebrations and hence cannot provide security for Sunny’s event.&nbsp;

On this year’s proposed show, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene (KRVYS), an offshoot of KRV that is at the forefront of opposition claims to stage state-wide protests against the event. KRVYS president R Harish told PTI, "Let there be police permission.We are going to protest. There is no doubt about it. Across the state we will protest.”
