The Defence Ministry has developed this system as the country fights coronavirus outbreak and the system will be called Defence Research Ultraviolet Sanitiser (DRUVS).&nbsp;

In order to contain the spread of virus DRDO's Research Centre Imarat (RCI) lab is working on making this device contactless.&nbsp;

The items DRUVS can sanitise: Mobile phones, iPads, laptops, currency notes, cheque leafs, challans, passbooks, paper, envelopes, etc.
