Chennai and Kolkata are popularly known as the giants of the Indian Premier League (IPL) because of the attitude they have kept hold of in the previous seasons&nbspof IPL and more importantly the results which they have achieved. Both of them have lifted the trophy twice and has been favorite of the title. The way in which both the teams have started their campaign is very surprising and they have already made the statement of their arrival.

Both teams have some serious big hitters in their line-up who can demolish any bowling as we have witnessed in the opener match when Dwayne Bravo smashed Jasprit Bumrah and Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman to snatch victory from the jaws of Mumbai team.

Also Sunil Narine, "the mystery bowler turned demolishing batsmen" played magnificently well against Bangalore and might surprise any opposition with his talent and batting skills.

As Chidambaram stadium is known for high scoring matches hence other batsmen of both the team will look forward to hitting the bowlers hard but will make them look "disgraced."

The clash will be a fight of the "reputations", beside which both the teams stand.

More importantly, this is another big game for Chennai as it is going to be a homecoming for the "Yellow Brigade" at their home ground after serving a two-year ban.

The eagerly waiting fans might have already planned their welcome with a dazzling sound of 'dhol and nagada' and performing their own 'whistle-podu' dance on the streets and in the stadium as well.

So this will be a heck of contest to watch out for at Chidambaram with a crowd capacity of approx 50,000. The crowd will be roaring on the return of their hero's and chanting 'Dhoni... Dhoni...'

So we might see one of the most enthralling fights of the season today which will kick-off the drama and excitement that IPL brings to our life.
