Akshay Kumar's latest film Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue is based on a real-life incident that took place in 1989 in Raniganj, in West Bengal. The film narrates the story of one mining engineer Jaswant Singh who took up the daunting task of rescuing 65 miners stuck in a flooded coal time.
