A train carrying Boris Johnson and the former CIA chief David Petraeus may have been the target of a Russian drone strike that hit a train engine near the Poland-Ukraine border, according to Ukrainian Railways.

Ukraine’s foreign minister, Andrii Sybiha, described the attack as “Putin’s terror knocking directly on the doors of the EU and Nato”.

Belarus has announced that it has cleared migrant camps on its border with Poland and moved them to a nearby warehouse that the government has converted into a processing center. This came after Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel spoke twice to Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on the telephone.
