A 19-year-old college student identified as Vignesh was found hanging in his room at five&nbsp;in the evening yesterday in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.&nbsp;

The police link his death to the<a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/disturbing-videos-of-7-year-old-girl-playing-blue-whale-challenge-emerge-19585"> illegal game &quot;Blue Whale</a>&quot;which has already <a href="http://www.wionews.com/world/everything-you-wanted-to-know-about-blue-whale-challenge-but-were-afraid-to-ask-18495">claimed the lives of some 100 kids across the world.</a> The police suspect that the teen was part of a&nbsp;WhatsApp group of 75 friends who are playing the suicide game currently in the South Indian state.&nbsp;

The police have also found a suicide note Vignesh left at his Madurai home which says: &quot;This is not a game but danger. Once you enter, you can never exit.&quot;

They also found an image of a&nbsp;whale carved into Vignesh&#39;s left arm with &#39;Blue Whale&#39;&nbsp;written below it.

The teenager was found by his father who then informed the police. His father is a daily wage earner while Vignesh was a&nbsp;second-year commerce student at a private college.

His brother speaking to the police said, &quot;He was depressed and had been spending a lot of time alone in the last 45-50 days.&quot; His friends, however, never felt anything wrong. They didn&#39;t know his long hours on the phone or desktop could be linked to the game.&nbsp;

In the past,<a href="http://www.wionews.com/videos/deadly-blue-whale-game-indian-cities-top-blue-whale-search-4537"> &#39;Blue Whale Challenge&#39; </a>has been blamed for at least three more suicides this month in Mumbai, UP and Kerala.&nbsp;

The Blue Whale challenge is a game that draws people, mostly children and teenagers, through online chat rooms. Once they track any vulnerable candidate, the candidate is then taken on to a private chat room where the player has to take up 50 dares. These include cutting oneself, isolating from friends and family, visiting graveyards, watching horror flicks, jumping off a building. In the last dare&nbsp;given, the player is given a choice to either kill themselves or watch someone close die.&nbsp;
