<p>In a move that will eliminate long queue&nbsp;of patients in hospitals, a&nbsp;Hyderabad based medical institute has developed an application which will help patients to&nbsp;register themselves online.</p>

<p>Besides doing away with long queues in hospitals, the app will also provide an easy access to medical records, with an option of downloading them.</p>

<p>The director of Nizam&#39;s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) said the move will ensure that hard copy of medical records are not piled up.&nbsp;The plan was initiated in 2014, as part of the hospital management information system. It was launched in July 2017, he added.</p>
