Nepal is all set to adopt a constitutional amendment on June 9 in the House of Representatives. Once passed, and signed by the Nepali president, it will give constitutional backing to the new map that shows Indian territories of as Nepal territories --Lipulekh, Kalapani, Limpiyadhura as its own.

Nepal parliament has delayed taking up the constitutional amendment for the Nepal Map that was to be taken up by the House of Representatives. New Nepal Map showcasing Indian territories as Nepal territories can get legal backing only once the constitution can be amended.No reason has been given why Constitution Amendment Bill for Nepal Map was removed from Nepal's House of Representatives agenda.
