<p>A Muslim man was beaten up by a group of people allegedly for carrying beef in Maharashtra&#39;s Nagpur district. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Four persons have been arrested in this regard.</p>

<p>Thirty-one-year-old Salim Ismail Sheikh was stopped by a group of men when he was returning home on Wednesday evening in Bharsingi village of Nagpur rural. They asked him to show what meat he was carrying and when he refused to do so, he was beaten up, PTI quoted Nagpur rural Superintendent of Police Shailesh Balkawade as saying.</p>
