Team USA have made history by advancing to the Super 8 stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 for the first time, decided by a wash-out in Broward County. The USA’s advancement ahead of cricketing powerhouse Pakistan has made shockwaves around the globe and is rallying Americans to get behind their national team.

Team USA has captured the world's attention as the host nation making its debut in the World Cup. They convincingly defeated Canada in the opening game. They emerged victorious against Pakistan in a thrilling super-over, which put the team in a position to finish second in Group A of the marquee event.

Major League Cricket players who are part of Team USA are Ali Khan, Nitish Kumar, and Shadley Van Schalkwyk (Los Angeles Knight Riders), Steven Taylor, Nosthush Kenjige, Monank Patel, and Shayan Jahangir (MI New York), Corey Anderson (San Francisco Unicorns), Harmeet Singh, (Seattle Orcas), Milind Kumar (Texas Super Kings) Andries Gous, Saurabh Netravalkar and Yasir Mohammad (Washington Freedom).

All six teams who competed in MLC’s historic inaugural season will feature again in 2024.

Faf du Plessis played a blistering innings of 35 runs off 23 balls in Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s IPL match against Chennai Super Kings, meanwhile Marco Jansen is one of the leading speedsters for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Quinton de Kock is leading the charge for the Lucknow Super Giants with the bat and Sunil Narine bowled a magnificent spell of 1/19 for Kolkata Knight Riders against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The return of top T20 action on the pitch is paired with the return of Royal&nbsp;as an MLC Signature Partner, delivering fans an authentic taste of India alongside the high-octane cricket in America’s world class professional cricket league.
