Post the screening at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, Shyam Benegal's cult-classic Manthan is set to re-release in the Indian theatres. The movie, which was first released in 1976 starred late actor Smita Patil, Naseeruddin Shah, Girish Karnad, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Mohan Agashe, and Amrish Puri among others.
