<p>FIR has been filed against Indian Coast Guard under various sections of the Arms Act by Mandapam Coastal Security.</p>

<p>The FIR was based on the complaint of Indian Fisherman alleging that Indian Coast Guard fired at the Indian fisherman in Rameshwaram.</p>

<p>The Fisherman Association has decided to begin a strike immediately and will hold a protest on November 16.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Also, the association has demanded the arrest of an official responsible, and compensation for the injured fisherman.</p>
