<p>The Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday busted a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) module in south Kashmir which was responsible for several bank robberies across the state.</p>

<p>One of the arrested members of the module is Sandeep Sharma alias Adil, originally a resident of Uttar Pradesh.</p>

<p>Munir Khan, IGP, Jammu and Kashmir said Sharma was in the same house where LeT commander Bashir Lashkari had taken shelter.</p>

<p>Khan said Sharma assisted Lashkar militants in looting ATMs across the state.</p>

<p>On further inquiry by the police, it was revealed that Sharma along with other individuals hatched a criminal conspiracy leading to providing shelter, ferrying of terrorists from one place to another for terror strikes and actively participating in terrorist activities, according to ANI.</p>

<p>ANI further added that Sharma also concealed weapons looted from police guards in a vehicle and shifted them to different locations on the directions of LeT.</p>
