Fleeing from Delhi's killer smog Meraj and Johan make a clean break for the hills of Kumaon in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand. Here, Meraj sets up a workstation on the riverside while Johan climbs a rock to meditate in the middle of a gushing stream. Later the two head up to Gaggar, high up in the hills where they trace a rich literary history that includes Rabindranath Tagore and Mahadevi Varma.
