One of the most pressing environmental issues of the world is plastic pollution. The rapid rise in the production of plastic products has overwhelmed the world's ability to deal with them. In Panama City, efforts are on to collect trash which ends up on the Juan Diaz river - a trash collecting machine has begun scooping out the discarded items from the river.
