<p><a href="http://www.wionews.com/south-asia/taha-siddiqui-kidnapping-bid-a-chronology-of-abductions-in-pakistan-29135" target="_blank">Taha Siddiqui, Islamabad-based WION&rsquo;s Pakistan bureau chief</a> has said that he has been receiving threats from Pakistan military.</p>

<p>He added that his friends and family had received message&nbsp;warning saying that he should stop criticising Pakistan military.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Around 10-12 men tried abducting Siddiqui when he was on his way to Islamabad airport on January 10.</p>

<p>His cab was overtaken and blocked by another vehicle.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The men came out of the car armed with Kalashnikov guns and hit Taha. They threatened to kill him and threw him back into the cab.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Taha, however,&nbsp;managed to get out of the car from the other side of the cab.</p>

<p>Siddiqui had been facing harassment&nbsp;in Pakistan for a long time.&nbsp;</p>
