<p>Rockstar Jon Bon Jovi is earning a lot of praise for saving the life of a woman, who was trying to jump off a bridge.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The incident took place earlier this week when Jovi was filming a music video on a bridge in Nashville, Tennessee, when an elderly woman was standing on the ledge of a Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On spotting the woman, Jovi and his team walked towards her and stopped her from jumping off.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A surveillance video, released by The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, of the bridge that's on&nbsp;the Cumberland River showed Jovi and his team walking to the woman as they talked and helped her come back onto the bridge.</p>

<p>The video showed the Grammy-winning singer walking with the woman as he persuaded her to come back on the pedestrian walkway and gave her a warm hug.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sharing a clip on X, the police department of Nashville said, ''A shout out to @jonbonjovi &amp; his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night. Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.<br />

"It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,"--Chief John Drake.</p>

<p>The singer was filming a music video on the bridge, which was also open to the public at the time of the incident.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Soon after the video went viral, netizens were quick to hail the rockstar.&nbsp;</p>
