Ace Filmmaker Christopher Nolan will soon be back with another film as he has finally cast the lead star to headline it. &nbsp;

Set for a release next summer, Christopher’s film was kept under wraps for the longest time with no plot details revealed around it. It is now being described as an “event film” with several media reports calling it “massive, innovative, action blockbuster” that will be shown in Imax.&nbsp;

As for the lead actor, John David Washington will take up the role. He was most recently seen in Spike Lee’s Oscar-winning film ‘BlacKkKlansman’ in which he starred with Adam Driver. Previously an American footballer, John also starred in HBO series ‘Ballers’ and ‘The Old Man and the Gun’.&nbsp;

For those who are unaware, John is the son of actor Denzel Washington.&nbsp;

Christopher’s last film was 2017 war film ‘Dunkirk’ that grabbed an Oscar nod for best film.&nbsp;

Production is set to begin later this year with as the director is set to produce alongside wife Emma Thomas. The film will release in July 2020.&nbsp;
