Hales fell just five runs short of his half-century and was sent back to the pavilion on 45 by Amit Mishra.

Mishra struck for his team second time when he dismissed Dhawan, who made 33 runs in 30 balls.

Young cricketing sensation Prithvi Shaw's 65-run knock followed by skipper Shreyas Iyer's 44 helped Delhi post a moderate 163/5 against Hyderabad.
