A 23-year-old air hostess was found dead on Wednesday after allegedly falling from the third floor of a building in Kolkata.&nbsp;

Khongsit Clara Bansha Rai, from Sikkim, was a lead cabin attendant with IndiGo.&nbsp;

According to The Indian Express, two of her friends have been detained for questioning.&nbsp;

Rai was reportedly celebrating a friend&rsquo;s birthday.&nbsp; 
&nbsp; 
Around 4.30 am, a local resident found her lying on the ground in a pool of blood and informed the police, The Times of India reported.&nbsp; 
&nbsp; 
Two of Rai&rsquo;s friends, a man and a woman, were inside the flat when the police came in.

The friends claimed they were sleeping and didn&rsquo;t know how she fell down, the TOI reported.&nbsp;

Police told the TOI that the sliding window of the apartment did not have iron grills and a probe is on to determine whether she accidentally fell from the window, committed suicide or was pushed,&nbsp;
