The Indian government has slammed a BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, "We think that this is a propaganda piece, designed to push a particular discredited narrative."

With the talks of disengagement along the LAC, India, and China have been holding diplomatic and military level talks constantly. Ministry of External Affairs in a statement said "Because of the massive build on the Chinese side, the situation took a serious turn on the LAC. The Chinese side must respect the sanity of the LAC, and respect border understanding in order to reduce tensions."
