<p>The two Indian clerics who had gone missing in Pakistan&nbsp;returned to India this morning.</p>

<p>Syed Asif Ali Nizami, 80, the head priest of Delhi&#39;s Nizamuddin Dargah, and his nephew Nazim Ali Nizami, 60, went missing last Friday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Syed Nizami disappeared from Karachi airport. Nazim Nizami was not allowed to board the flight from Lahore to Karachi. &#39;</p>

<p>After that, their cellphones were switched off.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Back in Delhi, the duo met with foreign minister Sushma Swaraj.&nbsp;</p>

<p>And held a press conference after that at which Syed Nizami said there were people who did not wish for them to return to Pakistan but that they would continue to do so, with the &quot;message of peace&quot;. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

The clerics themselves, when they were traced, said they had been in the interiors of Sindh where there had been no phone connection. Media reports quoted them as saying they had gone to Sindh to meet devotees.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Indian foreign minister Sushma Swaraj had been in touch with the Pakistani foreign office ever since news of disappearance (of the two clerics) surfaced.</p>
