Pakistan Rangers opened fire <a href="http://www.wionews.com/india-news/jk-13-year-old-injured-in-ceasefire-violation-in-poonch-23220">on a Border Security Force(BSF) patrol party today </a>along the Line of Control(LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir&#39;s Samba district.

A BSF soldier was killed in the firing.&nbsp;

Earlier in the day, at least five personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured after terrorists attacked one of their vehicles in Mominabad, in Jammu and Kashmir&#39;s Anantnag district.&nbsp;

Three soldiers received bullet injuries while two others were injured after getting hit by broken glass panes of the vehicle.

On Monday, Pakistan&#39;s General of Military Operations (DGMO) had spoken to his Indian counterpart on cross-border firing.

During the phone call, Pak DGMO alleged that Indian security forces had resorted to unprovoked firing along the Line of Control.&nbsp;

Replying to Pak DGMO, Lt Gen Bhatt said Indian troops had resorted to retaliatory fire in response to &quot;unabated support given by the Pak Army&quot; to &quot;armed terrorists&quot; who infiltrate across the border and target Indian Army posts.

During the conversation with the Pak DGMO, Bhatt clarified that Indian Army maintains &quot;does not target civilians&quot;.

Pakistan troops had opened fire on several occasions along the LoC&nbsp;in J&amp;K&#39;s Poonch and other areas last month.

There has been heavy loss of life and property in recent months because of the increased cross-border shelling.&nbsp;
