<p>Former RAW Chief Rajinder Khanna is appointed as the Deputy National Security Advisor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rajinder Khanna who joined RAW in 1978, is said to be an expert on terrorism.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He is considered as the founder and driving force of the counter-terrorism unit in RAW.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He is the first chief of RAW to be directly recruited into the Research and Analysis Service cadre.&nbsp;</p>
