The Bavarian automaker has just released a teaser video, showing some of the iconic sportscar's development and testing processes in various facilities. The G90 will be the first M5 to use a plug-in hybrid engine, likely to be shared with the BMW XM SUV. If that happens, the all-new G90 M5 will get the twin-turbo, 4.4-litre V-8 engine with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack.
