According to U.S. Park Police, crews are cleaning up outside the Lincoln Memorial after it was defaced with red paint. An image from WTOP's Kate Ryan shows the words "Free Palestine" and another message that says in part "land back!!" spray sprayed at the base of the memorial, on the steps near the reflecting pool.
