Popularly known by her stage name &#39;Fearless Nadia&#39;, Evans was born on January 8, 1908, in Perth Australia.&nbsp;

Evans visited India at the age of five and stayed back to pick up numerous skills like fishing, hunting and horseriding.

She went on to become a notable actress and stuntwoman in the Indian film industry.&nbsp;

Evans picked up &#39;Fearless Nadia&#39; as her stage name and got her big break in Homi Wadia&#39;s Hunterwali, 1935.

Nadia also starred in other Hindi feature films like Desh Deepak and Noor-e-Yaman and garnered attention for her daring, death-defying stunts in Hindi cinema.

Nadia married director/writer Homi Wadi in the year 1961.&nbsp;

Vishal Bharadwaj&#39;s recent release, Rangoon, has a key character based on Fearless Nadia.

In the film,&nbsp;&#39;Jaanbaaz Julia&#39; -- a character inspired by Nadia and played by Kangana Ranaut -- does her own stunts and rises to fame.
